I am a 30 year old digital marketing professional and social media enthusiast. I was born and raised in “Music City”, Nashville, TN. We Nashville natives say, “Nashville is a drinking town with a music problem.” Growing up, Nashville was a little big city which is why I decided to attend Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia. It was there where my marketing and event planning passion blossomed.
I graduated in 2010 and moved home to begin a career as a PR and event planner. After working with incredible musicians and planning fabulous events for 2 years, I decided to pursue my Master’s Degree in Marketing Communications at Northwestern University in Chicago. I graduated in 2013. In 2014, I moved to Minneapolis to begin my marketing career working on iconic brands such as Cheerios at General Mills.
The mid-Western winters were too much for my Southern soul. In 2016, I moved back to Nashville (no longer a little big city) and continued my marketing career at another Fortune 500 company. There’s just no place like home. Moving back home reaffirmed my deep love for music and events. Thus, this site was born.
love, Leigh Love
Forever a lover of music, I have always seen it as a way of expressing yourself and your emotions when you can’t find the right words. I am passionate about all things social online and offline. I’m not a music critic, just a music lover. I have a collection of music festival wristbands from around this country, but not enough stamps in my passport yet.
Here at loveLeighLove, you will find posts on music, travel and events. I’m just a Southern girl living in a high tech social world trying to share my passion.
