Kay and I knew the perfect way to end our Inaugural Xpo weekend was with a Sunday Funday Brunch. We held our brunch at Industrious Gulch. Food was provided by my childhood friend, Keith Batts, better known as Chef Batts. He’s my favorite Nashville caterer mainly because of his specialty which is beyond amazing Mac n Cheese. It’s life changing!
Industrious Gulch provided a fruity assorted mimosa bar for us along with a fun photobooth. Honestly, what’s brunch without mimosas? We also had one of Nashville’s newest editions, Deep Bay Spirits. Deep Bay is a local company that makes Gin and Vodka canned sodas. They’re natural, refreshing and light.
We also had our favorite wine company, Muddy Boot Wine. Muddy Boot expanded its distribution to Nashville earlier in 2018 and we haven’t gotten enough since then. We had 3 of their great flavors including their Rose at the brunch. Phil Ogilvie, one of the Muddy Boot founders, gave a great talk about how they only use influencers for their marketing. He ended with a cheers to me and Kay.
Music for the brunch was provided by Jamal AKA DJ My World. The brunch would not have been such a hit without him. He had us swag surfing and chanting Yo Gotti. It seems like that should be it, but it’s not. We had an epic brunch! We had a delicious cake made my Kelsey from SugarCoatCo. She also made our keynote speaker and teachers the cutest boss babe cookies. Follow her Instagram, she’s amazing. We had the most beautiful floral wall created by Nathalie from Litton Ave. The Perfect Little Store provided a donut wall and fun balloon installation as the center piece for our brunch.
To truly make the brunch and experience, we also had vendors. HelloWellCo, Clemmie Jewelry and Jad Marie Cosmetics were there. Natasha from the NY Project gave complimentary make up sessions using Jad Marie lip glosses and other products. We’re bloggers so makeup touch ups were a necessity. We also had giveaways provided by Muddy Boot, Cracker Barrel and Crafted bf Heart.
We ate, drank, laughed, took los of Pics and danced all afternoon. Pictures were captured by our photographers Christy from Authentic Photos and Designs and Ashley Michelle Photos. All of our dreams for the Xpo came true. We have to thank all of the attendees and volunteers that helped. And a very big thank you to all of our sponsors that helped make it happen. We can’t wait to make the 2nd annual Blogger Xchange Xpo bigger and better. Until then, sign up for other events in our three cities Nashville, Memphis and Minneapolis. Hope to see you soon for learning and fun.
love,
Leigh
