2019 Blogger Xchange XPO

This was our 2nd year doing the Blogger Xchange XPO. For those of you that are new here, I co-founded Blogger Xchange in 2017 with Kay Elle. We saw a need in Nashville and wanted to help existing and budding bloggers. Each day of the XPO is unique and great, but I really do love Saturday. We had our Thursday VIP Mixer, Friday Night Kick-off Party and then came a day of learning and networking. Be sure to check out the other days to follow the flow of the weekend. The Blogger Xchange XPO is about helping bloggers grow their brand and their business. Our 2019 theme was “Focusing on Content, Your Audience & Yourself” We crafted a full weekend that would help each attendee do those three things in the future.

The above balloons were by LaMarvelous Balloons and he’s an amazing designer. Use him for any big or small event. Another added xperience this year was VIP morning yoga. Ashley from Triluna Wellness led a class in meditation to start their long day correctly. I could have used yoga, but we were running around. After yoga, all attendees were able to enjoy breakfast from Rush Bowls Nashville. Rush Bowls have many flavors and they’re all yummy. I love the power bowl and think it gives you the energy you need for a good start to the day. All of the attendees commented we provided them protein all day. We def did because the day started at 7AM and ended at 4:30PM. You can visit Rush Bowls in the Gulch.

Our 2019 keynote speaker was Paris Chanel. She is the true definition of a BOSS. Not a girl boss, just a bad ass boss. She has created her own event series, The Let It Go Balloon Brunch, has her own boutique, successful makeup business along with booming Instagram and YouTube pages. She kept it real and provided great inspiration. It was a nice way to start the morning. After Paris, attendees went out to enjoy brand activations and shopping from our vendors.

We had activations from Happy Huts Nashville which was the cutest thing. They provide tents and other goodies for the perfect sleepover. I want them to expand to adult sizes so I can do one (but let’s be real I fit in a child one, I just need wine). Our shopping vendors included Esthetics by P. Brown, Hello Well Co, NashTN, Knine Sixx, Strut Couture and Shop Indy Boutique.  Check out each website to see their merchandise. They range from essential oils, t-shirts/tanks to dresses, shoes and more. They’re each great people with great things to offer. Also, they’re all Nashville based.

After shopping, attendees headed into their classes. We went from 4 classes in 2018 to 5 in 2019. We had some great teachers this year and I thank each of them. They’re truly amazing people that dedicated their time and talents. After 2 classes, we had lunch by Taziki’s Gulch. If you know me, you know I LOVE Taziki’s. They see me way too much at the Gulch location. It’s simple, healthy, well-seasoned and filling. That’s the perfect combo. We had their chicken feast catered and everyone came back for seconds (some thirds-that would be me).

We had Boxed Water for each attendee. It’s a long day and healthy food and water def help get through it. Attendees went back to class post lunch and then came out to a surprise. We had more warm TIFF’S Treats delivered. It was the perfect afternoon pick me up. The last class of the day was Content Planning. The reason was so attendees could take everything they learned and put a plan on paper for the rest of the month/year. Kay and I ended up teaching the Food Content Planning class which was really fun. The one thing I regret is not being able to sit in on each class. Everyone said each teacher did wonderful and I would have loved to stay for each, but duty called.

Want to know how we ended the weekend with a bang? Check out my post about our Sunday Brunch. It truly was a Sunday Funday. Looking to attend the XPO next year? Be sure to follow us on Instagram @BloggerXchange and visit our website. We have more events coming up before then. See the full list of 2019 XPO sponsors below.
