Staycations are my end of 2020 summer jam right now. Since I’m not traveling this summer as much I normally do, I have started doing more staycations. This allows me to get out of the house, see new places in the city and watch cable which I don’t have at home lol. My latest staycation this last weekend was at Studio 154 Luxury Hotel in downtown Nashville. I partnered with them to go with 2 of my fave blogger babes, Kay Elle and Alesha.
Studio 154 Luxury Hotel is right above BB King’s on 2nd Avenue. So a prime location if you want to get out. As soon as I walked up, I said, “This is great for bachelorette and birthday parties.” For now, I of course encourage you to do so with a mask and socially distant. Be safe! The coolest thing for me is that before you arrive you get a code and download an app. With that code, you unlock the elevators, roof and your room with your phone. They do not have a front desk or checkin. Everything is online. Pro Tip: Charge your phone before you leave your room.
I stayed in one on the 2 story loft suites. It sleeps 4 people. 2 in the upstairs room with a full bath and 2 downstairs with a sleeper sofa and full bath. Each room has a kitchen area with fridge and stove. My room faced 2nd Avenue with floor to ceiling windows. The rest of my group had river facing rooms. Rooms on both sides have their benefits (2 floors or the view). The river rooms had balconies although one story.
While I loved my room, my favorite part of the hotel is the roof. The rooftop overlooks the river and the TN Titans stadium. There were few guests in the hotel so we had the roof to ourselves for brunch. If you’re doing a girls weekend, it’s great for brunch or drinks. We did both!
Without the checkin and masks required throughout, you’re still able to social distance. For me, while I get out, I still want to be safe. The whole hotel is on 1 floor with a small breakfast area. There, they provided masks in a jar and hand sanitizer for guests. For your next staycation or Nashville trip, check out Studio 154 Luxury Hotel. Let me know if you visit. Thanks to Studio 154 for hosting us for the weekend.
